Why are wake windows important?

It is important to keep these going! The wake windows changes according to your child’s age bracket! Keep them consistent throughout the day. It will work the sleep magic.

💕Newborns (0-2 months): Newborns have short wake windows and tend to sleep for most of the day. They can typically stay awake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour before needing to sleep again.

💙3-5 months: At this age, babies can usually handle longer wake windows. They can stay awake for around 1-2 hours before needing to nap.

💗6-8 months: Babies in this age range can handle even longer wake windows, typically around 2-3 hours.

💚9-12 months: By this stage, babies can usually handle wake windows of about 3-4 hours.

Hope this helps mama! 💞
